Sunday, June 10 - This day was planed for the petrified forest which turned out to be more than expected.
The vast areas of half desert on the way to the park was mostly fenced in, but animals were scarce. One cow can been seen in one picture. The pictures are divided up partially to separate out the petrified forest, the colourful "desert" landscape and the layers of rock indicating the distinct changes the area has gone through in the millions of years before we humans arrived.
