Thursday, June 14 we visited the north rim of the Grand Canyon. If possible the views were even more breath-taking then from the south rim. As usual it was impossible for me to duplicate the heights, distances and expansive views in 2 dimensional photographs, but….
This week is Star Party week here and in many places astronomers are showing the stars to whoever wants to listen and see. We went to the closest one and got to see Jupiter with four moons, a galaxy or two, twin stars, etc. Of course, it was dark and I have no pictures. |
