Saturday, June 16 we left the Grand Canyon for Hurricane which was just beyond the Zion canyon. On the way we stopped at a quite large cave that had been turned into a museum for the Anasazi and Navajo Indians and the dinosaurs of the area http://www.moquicave.com. Besides crafts by the indians and other things that could be seen on their home page , there were footprints that dinosaurs had left in the rocks. We returned to the Zion Canyon on June 17 so we have a lot of pictures from our two visits there. The short video (at the bottom) I took gives you some idea of the size. As usual with such enormous places I find it impossible to show the height, depth and width in two dimensional photographs, but I have created a couple of slide sections with our photos. After visiting the Canyon on Sunday, we drove on to Las Vegas. |
